And the Oscar goes to…
Adrian Shaughnessy (one of my favorite design writers) wrote an article for Design Observer detailing the Oscar-winning short animation Logorama by H5. It’s really amazing to see graphic design genre work coming into mainstream, first with Helvetica, the movie and now a short featuring the idea of branding. I love it. I can’t wait to see the entire animation. For a preview click here.

Erica Harris
Ms. Harris is a visiting artist from Brooklyn NY has an exhibition of recent collages at the Louisiana Tech School of Art Galleries. She spoke yesterday about source materials for collage and her numerous artist residencies across the globe. The work and her experiences are truly inspirational. Check out her site here.
